What Is It All About?
The Why so SEOrious? series started with a simple question: can we make an event that focuses on sharing what we know about SEO and digital marketing, not selling it? Turns out, we can – and we did, starting in Poznan, Poland.
Breaking free from the usual, stuffy conference rooms and complex jargon, our event series is about shedding a different light on the digital marketing landscape. The primary aim: taking SEO seriously, but always keeping sight of the creativity and excitement it holds.
Whether you are a CEO steering your company through the digital business landscape or just a marketing enthusiast looking to harness the power of SEO for personal projects, Why so SEOrious? has something for you.
Why "SEOrious?"
The punny play on words, 'SEOrious,' has been in our minds for quite a while now, and we couldn't think of a better title for our initiative. It perfectly encapsulates the balance we aim to strike between maintaining a serious, professional approach to SEO while keeping a sense of intrigue and fun in our learning and development.
We also wanted to highlight the importance of SEO in digital marketing – but not by saying that you should throw your money at it mindlessly. In fact, pretty much anything you do online has something to do with SEO, and this is why we're open to discussing various strategies, success stories, and even mistakes that we can all learn from.
If you take a look at the roster of the first edition, you'll notice that only one presentation was, in fact, about SEO – but much more about AI that powered it. Are you a UX expert, a senior copywriter, or a social media manager? There's a spot for you in Why so SEOrious?!
Isn't This Just Another Conference?
At first glance, it may look like just another conference. But if you take a closer look, you'd see that Why so SEOrious? is much more than that. Yes, we have talks and presentations like any other conventional conference, but unlike others, we set the stage for open communication and exchanging unique insights.
Instead of sessions packed with pitches and self-promotion, we prefer thought-provoking presentations, trailblazing panel discussions, and brainstorming breakout sessions. At Why so SEOrious? we promote honest conversations that spark collaboration, innovation, and growth.
Above all, what sets us apart is our warm and welcoming community atmosphere where everyone, from newbies to veterans, feels valued and supported in their journey to decoding the puzzle of effective SEO strategies.
What's Next for Why so SEOrious?
On June 15th, 2023, our agency launched the inaugural "Why so SEOrious?" event. Aimed at fostering knowledge sharing among industry professionals, the series not only touched on SEO but also highlighted how AI-powered tools can revolutionize digital strategy – all within an engaging session that lasted a little over two hours.
The positive response from our attendees only confirms that the need for such collaborative, informative sessions in the field is stronger than ever.
The roadmap for "Why so SEOrious?" continues to be exciting. As for now, we can reveal that the upcoming edition on August 24th, 2023, will be taking a leap into the digital realm. While the essence remains the same, we're enabling a wider audience by hosting it all online.
