On August 24th, 2023, we met for the second edition of our event. As we had announced, the old formula remained – but, there was a catch: we went online.
And this means two things.
First, it gave you the opportunity to join us from the comfort of your own home, removing all geographical barriers.
Second, it allowed us to invite a diverse group of speakers, bringing in SEO experts from all corners of the world to share their insights and expertise.
It would be a lie if we said that everything went smoothly. But, we are incredibly proud of the determination and resilience we were able to show, pulling off a successful event despite a few technical hiccups.
A New Beginning?
It's safe to say that industry events are our bread and butter, but the switch to an online setup required us to adapt and innovate in unexpected ways.
And oh my, we did exactly that. While the virtual venue was new to us, we were thrilled to see the amount of interaction and engagement it fostered, with lively chats during presentations and buzzing breakout sessions afterward.
We asked some of our participants for their insights, and to nobody's surprise, the consensus was clear: hearing the speakers talk about things outside their lectures was one of the highlights of the event.
This isn't to say that the lectures didn't hit the mark – far from it. Just like the last time, we put emphasis on bringing a range of practical, real-world tips and strategies directly to our audience.
And, just like the last time, we said no to any promotion, which took the opposite turn, and we received some strong opinions about certain tools (we're not going to spoil it here, though).
Presentations
Now, there isn't an SEO event without insightful, in-depth presentations. And at Why so SEOrious? #2, we raised the bar. With our switch to online, we could invite global SEO experts who dropped knowledge bombs left and right. Here's the complete line-up.
Nikola Minkov: Key Points to Manage a Successful SEO Agency in 2023
When we first heard Nikola Minkov's topic, we knew it would be more than just a checklist of what to do or not to do. Coming from a man who transformed a €500 startup capital into a multi-million euro business empire, we expected an inspiring mix of his entrepreneurial journey, key insights, and battle-tested strategies for success in the SEO landscape of 2023. And, believe us, Nikola didn't disappoint.
Milosz Krasinski: HARO – No $ Links
Our second speaker, Milosz Krasinski, shed new light on link building with his presentation on "no $ links" earned via the HARO platform. More than just a theoretical discourse, Milosz graciously took us through his five-step pitching process, exposing the nitty-gritty of how to build priceless links.
Rad Paluszak: From Algorithmic Penalty to 373% Revenue Increase
There was something uniquely thrilling about Rad Paluszak's presentation – a real-life transformation from a penalized website to an impressive revenue generator! Through his case study, Rad displayed the immense potential stranded in SEO strategy and clever maneuvering within the algorithmic landscape.
But what's more, he explains how to deal with penalties and traffic drops, something vital in the world of constant Google algorithm updates.
Viola Eva: Decoding LinkedIn's Collaborative Articles
The mystery behind LinkedIn's collaborative articles was expertly unraveled by Viola Eva, opening a new perspective on AI and user-generated content. Viola's analysis and insights amazed us as we discovered how 156,000 SEO pages were published in less than six months!
Alexandra Tachalova: How to Improve Your Organic Link Flow
Alexandra Tachalova's presentation on organic link flow was a much-needed one, and she delivered it masterfully. The audience was taken through practical techniques and benefits of effective link building, all information being substantiated by her authority in the field.

Wrapping It Up
What is our key takeaway from Why so SEOrious? #2? It's simple: transitioning to a virtual platform was challenging yet rewarding. It allowed us to bring together a diverse group of SEO experts in a convenient format that enabled high levels of interaction and insight sharing – and it's surely something we want to focus on in the future.
But, this doesn't mean we're abandoning our in-person events. We value the networking opportunities and the collective energy in a physical venue too much.
So yes, there are exciting times ahead. Let's raise our virtual glasses to Why so SEOrious? #3. See you there!
